It is the end of an era, for comic book lovers and cinema lovers alike. Stan Lee, the iconic comic book legend from the house of Marvel Comics breathed his last on Tuesday at the age of 95.

This was informed to the media by Lee’s daughter who did not disclose the cause of death.

Lee was single handedly responsible for creating iconic comic book superheroes like Spider-Man, Iron Man, The X-Men and most importantly, the Avengers.

Lee was instrumental in the rise of Marvel Comics in the 1960s as a writer and editor by creating iconic superheroes that are popular worldwide even today.

Along with legendary comic book artists like Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko, Lee popularized the Marvel brand among comic book lovers worldwide.

Lee had been involved with the highly successful Marvel Cinematic Universe movies where he has been the executive producers in all their movies.

Lee became extremely popular among new age fans due to his cameos in all of their films which turned out to be memorable little scenes that fans cherished in each such film.

His death truly signals an end and it has been condoled by fans and celebrities alike across social media.
