The opposition Congress in Meghalaya has called upon all parties in the state to align with it to ensure that democracy is upheld.
Stating that democracy is under threat at the moment, leader of opposition in Meghalaya assembly Mukul Sangma asked all like-minded parties to join hands with the Congress in the run up to the 2019 Lok Sabha polls.
