Pro-talk ULFA leader Jiten Dutta has been sent to 14 day judicial custody by the Kamrup Metropolitan Chief Judicial Magistrate court on charges of delivering inflammatory speech over the row surrounding the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill and the National Register of Citizens at a meeting held on 24th October at Geetanagar area in Guwahati.

The pro-talk ULFA leader was detained from Gaurisagar in Sivasagar district and was brought to the Pan Bazar police station in Guwahati.

Earlier, another pro-talk ULFA leader Mrinal Hazarika was summoned by Pan Bazar police yesterday has been sent to 14-day judicial custody by a local court in Guwahati.

The pro-talk ULFA leader was earlier detained by the Panbazar police after he was summoned to the police station in connection with a case registered against him at the Gossaigaon police station.
