BJP released its second list of candidates for 23 seats in the election to the 40-member Mizoram Assembly slated for November 28.

Meanwhile, the names of four other candidates will be announced soon.

While addressing mediapersons, State BJP President JV Hluna said it was the decision of the central leadership to not fill the remaining 4 constituencies now.

He further informed that the candidates are first interviewed and then chosen to contest election.

Talking about the number of seats, Hluna said they are expecting more than 20.

He further assured of not putting any candidate from the Bru or Chakma community in the remaining constituencies.

The BJP had released its first list of 13 candidates on October 20 and now has 36 candidates so far for the upcoming elections.
