The female worker alleged that mandal member of the BJP’s Banamalipur constituency, Dilip Kumar Roy molested her couple of times.
The victim filed a complaint at East Agartala Women Police Station against the accused BJP leader and also informed the party members in the constituency about the incident.
She, however, alleged that instead of coming to her rescue, the party members removed her from the party.
The victim also alleged that she was not allowed to meet Chief Minister Biplab Deb on the issue.
Talking to Northeast Live, President of Tripura BJP Mohila Morcha, Papia Datta said the allegations are a conspiracy against the BJP in the state.
