The centenary celebration of 100 years of Naga Club under the guidance of Naga students Federation was held on Wednesday at NSF solidarity park Kohima under the theme ‘Celebrating the Legacy’.
The Grand celebration was witnessed by different schools students, delegates, Nagas of Myanmar, North East Students’ Organization, Kuki Inpi of Nagaland, Karbi, Naga from Burma, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Manipur and leaders of Naga youth.
Speaking at the programme, Convener Neingulo Krome in his keynote address stated that to commemorate the 100th Year of Naga Club is to honor the pioneers of the Naga Club and ‘Celebrating the Legacy’ which was established 25 Years ago when Nagas from all Naga areas came together and celebrated the year 1993 as International Year of the World’s Indigenous Peoples as declared by the United Nations with the motto ‘Indigenous Peoples Partnership’ which was jointly organised by the Naga Peoples’ Movement for Human Rights and the Naga Students’ Federation.
