NRC State Coordinator Prateek Hajela briefed Home ministry and Assam government officials on the family tree that is used to determine citizenship and names included in the NRC.

The briefing began at 6 pm at the Home Ministry and is attended by Registrar General of India – Sailesh, Solicitor General Tushar Mehta, Attorney General KK Venugopal, the Solicitor General who also represents the Assam Government, State Chief Secretary, besides Kapil Sibal who is representing several organisations from Assam.
