Chief of Indian Naval Staff Admiral Sunil Lanba today visited the strategic Bumla Pass on the Line of Actual Control in the Tawang sector of Arunachal Pradesh.
Admiral Lanba, who is also the chairman chief of staff committee, was briefed of the security situation and the important activities involved in peaceful management of the border.
During the visit, the Naval Chief also interacted with troops deployed at the freezing heights of Bumla and lauded their efforts towards ensuring peace and tranquility along the LAC.
Lanba also paid homage to the martyrs of 1962 operations at Tawang War Memorial and the Memorial of Subedar Joginder Singh at Bumla.
