The North East Olympic Games got off to a glittering start in Manipur with a five day long schedule. Manipur Chief Minister N Biren singh inaugurated the mega sporting event
The North East Olympic Games got off to a glittering start in Manipur with a five day long schedule.
Manipur Chief Minister N Biren singh inaugurated the mega sporting event at the Khuman Lampak Main Stadium.
Conceptualized by the Olympic Associations of the eight northeastern states, the event will witness participation of over 1500 athletes from all the eight states of the region.
Athletes will be seen competing in 12 disciplines including archery, athletics, badminton, boxing, football, judo, karate, shooting, table tennis, taekwondo, weightlifting and wushu over the next five days.
