An unfortunate case of twin murder has come to light. The incident has been reported from Demow in Assam’s Sivasagar district.
Two persons of the same family identified as Ramani Praja and Bhola Praja were murdered in cold blood late yesterday night at the Dikhari Tea Estate.
The accused identified as Jangu Praja, who happens to be the son and brother of the victims is believed to have hacked the couple with a sharp machete on the road.
On the other hand the news of the double murder spread like wildfire with the infuriated labourers of the Tea Garden vandalising the residence of the accused.
