This latest incident has been reported from Assam’s Digboi, where a 16-year old minor girl has been allegedly raped by a group of 4 men at Muliabari in Digboi near a local police Station.

The four accused identified as Subham Das, Ajay Pandey, Akash Chakrabarty and Dhruba Gogoi meanwhile has been arrested by the police.

The four accused had allegedly raped the minor girl on Navami night, i.e. yesterday. Upon hearing to the screams of the helpless girl, police rushed to the spot and rescued the girl from the clutches of the men.

Although, the 4 accused managed to flee from the spot, police later arrested all the 4 accused on the same night.

Meanwhile, based on an FIR lodged by the family of the victim, a case has been registered by the police.
