Mizoram: Former HM R Lalzirliana fires fresh salvo at Cong; says 9 MLAs denied tickets in touch with him

Soon after resigning as a member of the Mizoram Legislative Assembly today, former state Home Minister and Congress leader R Lalzirliana who is all set to join the opposition MNF on Monday, said he was in touch with 9 sitting Congress legislators who were denied ticket by the party.
Lalzirliana, who has already declared that he is a part of the MNF family, was expelled from the Congress after he refused to reply to a party disciplinary committee show cause notice.
In line with the opposition party’s election campaign, Lalzirliana said MNF is the only party which is fighting the polls on the development agenda.
