The Manipur University Teachers Association (MUTA) has informed that teachers of the university will go on a mass casual leave on Wednesday in protest against the delay in unconditional release of the arrested students and teachers.
The MUTA also served an ultimatum to the concerned authorities to release the arrested teachers and students on or before October 11 failing which it will take a serious course of action.
The MUTA also resolved not to extend any cooperation to current Vice Chancellor in charge Prof Yugindro. The teachers body also slammed Prof Yugindro for labelling the university community as terrorists.
