Drug peddler from Manipur nabbed; Rs 3 lakh worth Heroin seized

Central Crime Branch, Women and Narcotic Drug squad have nabbed a 23 year-old drug peddler identified as Wichamthonliu Abonmai who hails from Senapati district of Manipur and seized from her Rs 3 lakh worth Heroin.
On receiving information, the team raided her rented house and seized 35 gram Heroin, empty plastic boxes used for packing the smuggled banned drug, one Mobile Phone and cash together valued at Rs 3, 40,000.
Preliminary investigation has revealed that she used to purchase the drug from friends at her native Manipur and Assam.
She was selling thus bought Heroin at Rs 9000 per gram, to students and software engineers.
A case has been registered in this regard and investigation is currently underway.
