Face-off between allies in Tripura, the BJP and the IPFT seems eminent with neither of the parties lowering its guard in regards to the ensuing Lok Sabha polls.

Just days after Tripura BJP in-charge and party’s National General Secretary Sunil Deodhar announcing that his party will be contesting from both the Lok Sabha seats in Tripura, the IPFT on Friday announced that it will also contest from both the seats.

However, IPFT vice-president Mangal Debbarma said that his party is ready to form an alliance to contest the upcoming Lok Sabha poll.
