Just after a fortnight of the Bodh Gaya shocker where a Buddhist monk was arrested for alleged sexual abuse of 15 boys from Assam’s Karbi Anglong.

18 minor boys from Tripura have returned back to the state after being physically assaulted in the educational institution they were studying at.

The entire incident came to light after the Tripura government was intimated about the entire scenario at the religious educational institution in Bodh Gaya.

The Tripura government than immediately contacted the Bihar Police who ensured the safe return of the 18 minors back home.

Health Minister Sudip Roy Burman along with the Chairperson and members of the Child Welfare Commission received the minor at the railway station.

Burman said that strong action will be taken against the culprit of the Buddhist School while Child Commission Welfare chairperson Nilima Ghosh confirmed bad treatment were meted out to the minors.

However, the Bihar Police official who escorted the minor boys back home said that they had to return back home due to lack of financial funding’s.
