The Mizoram government has announced Rs 2 crore relief package for the flood-hit state of Kerala.

Mizoram Chief Minister Lal Thanhawla also wrote to his Kerala counterpart Pinarayi Vijayan expressing solidarity with the people of Kerala.

The Chief Minister in a separate letter also informed the Kerala Chief Minister that all 34 MLA’s of the Indian National Congress in Mizoram also decided to contribute Rs 1 lakh each in the hope that it may alleviate a small portion of the immense hardships currently faced by the people of Kerala.
