Man-elephant conflict continues to be a cause of concern for Assam. An attack by an elephant herd has resulted in the death of one person in Nagrijuli.
The deceased has been identified as Shambhu Boro. The man had come out of his house early in the morning when the jumbos attacked and killed him on the spot.
The jumbos also attacked a few houses in the area and destroyed properties. It is to be noted that a man had earlier died on Sunday from elephant attack in the same area.
