The Supreme Court has today once again pulled up the Central Bureau of Investigation for its repeated failure to meet the deadlines set by the Supreme Court to file the final reports in the alleged fake encounter cases by the Army, Assam Rifles and the police in Manipur.

The Supreme Court on July 5 had directed the top investing agency to file the final reports in 4 cases of alleged extra judicial killings by Army, Assam Rifles and Manipur police on July 27.
