Landslide blocks National Highway 2 connecting Kohima with Mao gate in Manipur

Incessant rains since late yesterday evening has triggered massive landslides along the National Highway 2 that connects Kohima with Mao gate in Manipur. The landslide that occurred near River Varu

Incessant rains since late yesterday evening has triggered massive landslides along the National Highway 2 that connects Kohima with Mao gate in Manipur.

The landslide that occurred near River Varu close to the FCI Godown has brought normal life to standstill in the nearby areas.

As many as three houses were completely destroyed in the landslide. However, no causalities have been reported so far.
