Acting on specific inputs sleuths of the customs department has seized 25 gold biscuits weighing more than 4 kilogram and arrested four persons in Manipur’s Imphal.
The gang of smugglers which also includes a minor were carrying the gold kept concealed in their rectum.
The market value of the seized gold is worth over Rs 1.25 crore. The smugglers have been identified as Abdul Warish, Rajak Khan, Md Rajaoddin.
