In a major development in the Manipur abduction case, all the four abducted person including retired Manipur Police Service officer Angom Kundo Singh have been released by the kidnappers unharmed.
In a major development in the Manipur abduction case, all the four abducted person including retired Manipur Police Service officer Angom Kundo Singh have been released by the kidnappers unharmed.
The four persons – retired MPS officer Angom Kundo Singh, K Rotonmani Singh, K Upro Singh and K Yaiskul Singh were abducted by unidentified armed miscreants on July 5, while they were out for evening walk from Sekmai locality.
Police said that all the four abducted persons were released by the kidnappers, following intense search operations being carried out Imphal East and Imphal West Police.
Police have further arrested two persons in connection with the case. The arrested persons have been identified as Yumnam Anand Singh and K Robin Singh.
The Police have further informed Northeast Live that the motive of kidnapping is ransom.
