Arunachal Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein has dismissed all allegations levelled against him by the state Congress regarding the multi crore scam surrounding payment of land compensation for the Trans Arunachal highway.
Speaking to Northeast Live Editor in Chief Wasbir Hussain over the phone Chowna Mein said the Congress is in the habit of making baseless allegations.
The Dy Chief Minister also dismissed the Congress’ allegation that it was under him that the land compensation list for the beneficiaries was prepared.
Asserting that there is no question of him resigning following the Congress allegation, Chowna Mein said the state government is committed to thoroughly probe the matter and if need be it will not hesitate to hand over the case to CBI.
