Senior IPS officer Talia-khum John Longkumer on Wednesday took charge as the Director General of Police of Nagaland.

Longkumer, upon his arrival, was accorded the guard of honour at the police headquarters. After assuming charge, Longkumer held a meeting with senior police officers and interacted with them.

Expressing happiness to be back home and to work for the state, Longkumer vowed to uphold the office of the DGP with dignity and called upon all officers to work together as a team.
