The Proletarian Feminist Movement of Manipur along with 9 civil society organisations and joint action committee formed against commonwealth games medal winner Sajita Chanu’s doping test results staged a sit-in at Pechu Lampak near Chanchipur today, condemning the international weightlifting federation’s report which declared that the player has tested positive in the dope test conducted by United states anti doping agency.
Representatives of the organisations including students from various schools who took part in the protest chanted slogans and displayed placards during the protest.
