With the date for the publication of the final draft of NRC not far off, Assam Chief Minister gave out an assurance to the people that no indigenous person would be left out of the final outcome. The second and final draft of the NRC is all set to come out on June 30.

Chief Minister Sonowal said that even if any indigenous person’s name is left out of the final draft, then there is no need to panic. He also added here that any indigenous person whose name is left out can reapply for the process and special steps would be taken up for the same.
