Manipur University has been shut down temporarily as students of the university who are agitated by Vice Chancellor are on stir demanding his removal for his failure to maintain academic activities and squandering money.
Speaking exclusively to Northeast Live, Manipur University Students Union General Secretary Laishram Singh emphasized on how the VC never cared about students, was never accessible and alleged that corruption is deep rooted in the university.
