The Assam Congress is now caught in the wrong foot after the party engaged a child and dragged her all the way during their protest rally against steep price hike
The Assam Congress is now caught in the wrong foot after the party engaged a child and dragged her all the way during their protest rally against steep price hike on Wednesday.
Taking serious note of this, the police have filed a suo moto case under the Prevention of Cruelty to, and protection of Children Act. The police have also started search operations against the parents of the child and a section of Congress leaders who had forcibly involved the child in the protest.
The Congress during their protest rally involved the child who was seen seating in a dry coconut bunch was pulled by a Congress leader all the way. Meanwhile, the insensitivity of the Congress leaders has evoked sharp reactions.
