Shillong is slowly limping back to normalcy on its servant day today ever since the trouble began.

The East Khasi Hills district administration has relaxed curfew in the affected localities from 7am to 12 pm. Apart from this, night curfew will be imposed in the whole of Shillong from 6pm to 5am instead of 4pm.

With no incidents of trouble being reported since yesterday, it is being hoped that the situation is finally getting under control in trouble torn Shillong. The government decision to move the population of the disputed area seems to have worked in calming down the protesters.
