Police have succeeded in arresting an alleged rapist from Bishnupur near Gohpur town in Assam.
The youth identified as Diganta Nath has been absconding ever since January after he had allegedly raped a girl.
Nath had succeeded in absconding to Arunachal Pradesh where he remained in hiding so far.
Police had been searching for him all this while and finally they succeeded in apprehending him from his house.
