Just a day after footballer turned politician Baichung Bhutia formally launched his party ‘Hamro Sikkim’, ruling Sikkim Democratic Front (SDF) has vehemently condemned Bhutia’s allegations on Chief Minister Pawan Kumar Chamling.
SDF Spokesperson Bhim Dahal said that Bhaichung Bhutia has no programme in his party and hence is based on false propaganda. He further went on and said that Bhutia’s allegations are false and baseless as he did not give any specific reason for calling the current government ‘corrupt and dictatorial’.
Bhutia, yesterday during the launch of his party Hamro Sikkim in Daramdin in West Sikkim asked the SDF to come out clean on corruption charge and to stop being a dictator.
