The Assam Higher Secondary results of the Arts, Science and Commerce stream have been announced.
Amar Singh Thapa from Abdul Hasib HS School, Hojai is the Science topper scoring 486 marks out of 500. Niharika Goswami of Krishna Kanta Handiqui Junior College in Barpeta secures second position. The third position is shared by Bhaskar Jyoti Kalita and Mrinal Jyoti Powdel with 480 marks.
In the Commerce Stream, Raunak Lohia is the topper with 474 marks. Raunak is a student of Geetanjali Junior College in Nagaon. Dikshita Baruah from Salt Brook Academy, Dibrugarh secured second position with 471 marks.
While the Arts Topper is Sampriti Rajkhowa from Ramanujan Junior College, Nagaon. Sampriti scored 487 marks. Tridip Bora of Concept Junior College, Nagaon is the second rank holder with 485 marks while Bhanita Roy of Krishna Kanta Handiqui Junior College, Barpeta secured the third position with 484 marks.
The pass percentage in the Science stream has been recorded at 85.74 percent. A total of 15,728 candidates have secured first division, 13,825 secured second division and 2,492 have secured third division in the science stream.
In the commerce stream the pass percentage has been recorded at 84.64 percent. a total of 3526 candidates have secured first division whereas 4950 candidates have secured second division. 6562 students have secured third division in the commerce stream.
Meanwhile, The pass percentage in the Arts stream stands at 74.68 percent. 19470 candidates have secured first division, 45, 571 candidates have secured second division while 8060 candidates have secured third division in the arts stream.
