Kummanam Rajashekaran sworn in as new Mizoram Governor

Kummanam Rajashekaran was sworn in as the governor of Mizoram today. Chief Justice of Gauhati High Court Ajit Singh administered the oath of office to Rajasekharan at the Raj Bhavan

Kummanam Rajashekaran was sworn in as the governor of Mizoram today.

Chief Justice of Gauhati High Court Ajit Singh administered the oath of office to Rajasekharan at the Raj Bhavan in Aizawl.

President Ram Nath Kovind had appointed Kummanam Rajasekharan, the Kerala BJP chief as the governor of Mizoram on Friday as the tenure of the present incumbent Lt Gen Nirbhay Sharma (Retd) ended.

Mizoram Chief Minister Lal Thanhawla was also present on the occasion.
