With the fuel prices spiraling to record high, the commoners are feeling the brunt of the hike in petrol and diesel prices.
With an increase by 16 paise Sunday midnight, petrol prices have touched Rs 80.49 per litre in Guwahati, whereas a litre of diesel has reached Rs 72.22 per litre.
Meanwhile, the petrol prices in some parts of the state has reached Rs 81.76 per litre and diesel Rs 73.37 per litre. This has evoked stern reactions among the people.
