A shady network of touts and agents who facilitate Bangladeshis to return home after legally or illegally entering India and overstaying appears to be very much active and flourishing in Tripura.

A Northeast Live investigation following the arrest of 24 Bangladeshis from Agartala Railway Station on May 10 has revealed shocking details of the existence of this illegal cross-border travel network besides exposing the existence of a racket that provides fake identity proof to Bangladeshi nationals, including fake Aadhar cards.
