Assam Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi has hit out at the North East Democratic Alliance Summit held at Guwahati on Sunday, calling it a flop show.
Gogoi, while talking to the media, called the Summit a flop show as there was no specific talk held on the burning issue of the Citizenship Amendment Bill during the meet.
Gogoi, further targeted Union Minister Rajen Gohain over his recent remarks about the Citizenship Amendment Bill.
The Congress MP said that Gohain’s statements have exposed the BJP’s real intentions over the controversial bill and the continued silence of the party over the matter only further substantiates his Gohain’s statement over the matter.
Gogoi also did not spare the Asom Gana Parishad. While calling their protest against the bill as feeble, the Congress MP said that the ball is in the AGP’s court.
He even went on to say that the AGP leaders value their ministerial posts more than the well being of the people they claim to represent.
