In a tragic incident, three members of a family including a minor were killed after the vehicle they were travelling in fell into a 200 feet deep gorge in Dirang, in Arunachal Pradesh.

While the parents died on spot, the 8-year-old daughter was immediately referred to Guwahati for treatment and died on her way to the hospital.

According to SP West Kameng, the incident took place near Dirang power house of the West Kameng district yesterday evening.

The cause of the accident is suspected to be rash driving and negligence.
