Three persons have been arrested in Assam’s Dhekiajuli for providing misleading facts in their legacy data.
The primary investigation by NRC Sewakendra officials into the validity of the submitted legacy data documents revealed that they had been forged on some other family’s legacy data.
The arrested trio belong to the same family and are brothers. They have been identified as Mohammad Ali, Mahfuz Ali and Jamaluddin Ali.
All three are residents of Kharupetia in Darrang district. The arrested are currently in the custody of Dhekiajuli police.
