A latest forensic report has claimed gross discrepancies in a whole new lot of answer scripts belonging to 27 new candidates who had appeared for the posts of Agriculture Development

A latest forensic report has claimed gross discrepancies in a whole new lot of answer scripts belonging to 27 new candidates who had appeared for the posts of Agriculture Development Officer under the Assam Public Service Commission in 2014.

Further, the report has also revealed that two former members of the APSC had altered and enhanced marks in the answer scripts of these 27 candidates who had allegedly secured jobs by payment of cash.

The two former APSC members are likely to be arrested soon along with the 27 candidates who are now part of the government setup in different districts. Notably, these 27 candidates had appeared in the written examination in the year 2014 and the oral test was conducted in 2015 under the APSC.

The latest findings of the new lot of answer scripts indicates that the probe into the cash-for-job scam may take more time which may delay the filing of the final charge-sheet in the cash-for-job scam.
