After the brutal rape of an 18 year old girl by alleged ULFA(I) cadres on Tuesday evening, the outlawed group’s military chief Paresh Baruah has denied all allegations of involvement of ULFA(I) cadres in the Charaideo rape episode.
In a statement to the media, Baruah said that a nasty plot has been hatched by the security forces to defame the outfit in the wake of the reverses which the security forces have suffered in the recent past including the Bordumsa encounter.Meanwhile, even after two days since the heinous crime, the police have failed to arrest the accused culprits.
