Twin blast rocked Manipur’s capital city Imphal late yesterday evening.

The blasts that took place in front of the Sanjeevani post of the Assam Rifles in Imphal West left a personnel of the force injured. The office of the Assam Rifles PRO is located inside the Sanjeevani post.

According to Additional SP of Imphal West the blasts took place simultaneously at around 6.40 yesterday evening.

Police further said that the blasts were triggered by grenade hurled from the roadside. Meanwhile, the injured Assam Rifles jawan has been shifted to the nearest hospital.
