National People’s Party president and Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma hinted that the NPP will contest from all the seats in the North East in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
Conrad was addressing the first of its kind felicitation programme organized by the party to felicitate its ministers and MLAs from Meghalaya, Manipur, and Nagaland held at the U Soso Tham Auditorium in Shillong.
Commenting on the importance of the 2019 Lok Sabha election, Conrad Sagma said that the NPP will put its heads together in chalking out a plan to emerge as the alternative party in Northeast.
Later addressing journalists, Conrad said that there is a drive in the people and units of different states to see NPP candidates in the Lok Sabha election and that reflects the expectations people have from NPP.
