In a sensational incident, a Tripura State Rifles jawan shot dead his wife and two children before finally shooting himself at Rabindra Nagar in Agartala.
A rifleman of the 5th battalion of Tripura state rifles, Manik Ghosh killed his wife Ratna Ghosh, son Dipraj ghosh and daughter Devshita Ghosh.
However, what led the jawan to commit such a gruesome act is yet to be ascertained. Senior police officials have rushed to the spot and further investigation into the matter is on.
