After being accorded full state honours, the body of police officer Bhaskar Kalita was taken in procession to his home in Kamrup district with hundreds of people gathering there to give their parting respects to the martyr.
The body of Bhaskar Kalita reached his residence later in the day. Bordumsa officer in-charge Bhaskar Kalita was killed in the encounter with ULFA (I) on Saturday.
Meanwhile, heart wrenching scenes has filled the home of the police officer in Kamrup district of Assam.
