Veteran actor Dharmendra will receive the ‘Raj Kapoor Lifetime Achievement Award’ by the Maharashtra government.
Often termed as the ‘He-Man’ of Bollywood, Dharmendra has given 107 box office hits. One of his most prominent roles was in Sholay in 1975, whuch is considered as one of the biggest films of the country.
Followed by superstars Rajesh Khanna and Amitabh Bachchan, Dharmendra is the third actor who has delivered the highest grossing films to his name in the film industry.
Along with Dharmendra, Director Rajkumar Hirani will also get the Raj Kapoor Special Contributions Award, whereas, Marathi actor Vijay Chavhan and actress Mrinal Kulkarni will be honoured as well.
