The militants hurled grenades at a fuel station in Sapekhati and the Kanubari tea estate. However, no casualties were reported in the explosions.

According to reports, a group of 6 member ULFA militants are on an extortion drive in the district. Meanwhile, security forces have intensified operations against the militants.

The top cop also added that Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal had set some parameters in this regard.
