Vice President of India, Shri M. Venkaiah Naidu arrived in Imphal today to grace the Valedictory function of the State Level Workshop on “Biodiversity and Sustainable Agriculture for Doubling of Farmers’ Income” which was held at City Convention Centre, Palace Compound.

On his arrival at the Imphal International Airport, Hon’ble Vice President of India, was accorded warm welcome by the Governor of Manipur, Dr. Najma Heptulla, Chief Minister of Manipur, Shri N. Biren Singh, Deputy Chief Minister, Shri Y. Joykumar Singh and other dignitaries.

The Joint Battalion of Manipur Rifles and Indian Reserve Battalion (IRB) commanded by Deputy Commandant of 7th Battalion Manipur Rifles H. Gyaneshwar Singh presented the Guard of Honour to the Vice President at Raj Bhavan, Imphal.
