Cash crunch : ATM’s running dry in Arunachal Pradesh

ATMs are running almost dry in most urban centre’s of Arunachal Pradesh including capital Itanagar prompting people to resort to protest. Likewise protests were held near State Bank of India

ATMs are running almost dry in most urban centre’s of Arunachal Pradesh including capital Itanagar prompting people to resort to protest.

Likewise protests were held near State Bank of India offices in Naharlagun demanding better flow of cash in ATM’s.

Cash crunch has ATM’s in Itanagar, Naharlagun, Nirjuli etc for about a week creating a lot of inconvenience for the people.

A senior SBI official said the cash crunch is due to limited amount of cash sent by the RBI.
