A case of moral policing has come to fore, this time from West Garo Hills District of Meghalaya.
The incident came to light after a video went viral on the social media. The video shows a group of men beating and kicking a woman on the road even as she pleads to stop it.
According to reports, the woman is from Ampati in South West Garo Hills. A preliminary inquiry has been made into the incident. Cases of moral policing are on the rise in the region.
Recently, three men were arrested in Garo Hills for alleged moral policing.
