Amidst growing speculations over possible rift between the Asom Gana Parishad and the BJP in Assam, the AGP has demanded induction of two more ministers from the party into the Assam cabinet.

The AGP has further reiterated its stand that it will go into the Panchayat Polls in the State alone. It further said that it will not compromise on the issue of settlement of Hindu Bangladeshi’s in Assam.
